CHARACTERES

Meet the main characters of Broken Boys Beyond Friendships

Blake Roberts was a little older than 16 when his family moved from Manhattan Beach, California, to Andover, Massachusetts. Blake’s father was controlling; some might even say abusive. Nevertheless, he mapped out Blake’s life and expected Blake to follow his orders.

Blake had other dreams, and he missed his surfer lifestyle back in California, but he met a friend who would significantly impact his life.

Logan Vandermark was a high school stud, popular, and came from an old New England family. Logan came from a family of attorneys, and his parents worked in the law firm his great-grandfather started. Charming and very lucky, Logan won a Porsche in a raffle when his grandparents were at

Ivy Vandermark was her high school class president and prom queen. She’s the fraternal twin sister of Logan and the mother of Jillian. Ivy is refined, intelligent, and sophisticated. She’s also very loyal to her family and fiercely protective of Logan. As the firstborn, she considers herself Logan’s big

sister.  Since Blake spent much of his high school years at her house, Ivy is close to Blake and considers him part of her family.

Eden Sinclair was born and raised in Australia. Her father was a wealthy business tycoon in Sydney, and her mother was the publish relations officer to the Prime Minister. Rich, spoiled, and self-centered, she decided to attend university in Southern California, where she ended up being roommates with Ivy Vandermark.

Knowing no boundaries and always up for something new, Eden took Blake places he had never been.

Dillon Braun.png

Dillon Braun grew up in a small town in southwest Ohio and was naive to the ways of a city. But, needing to escape a family that rejected him because of his sexual orientation, Dillon rode his motorcycle to Los Angeles, where he met Blake at a

beach party at Venice Beach. Dillon and Blake became friends, and together they surfed, waited tables, and lived the California lifestyle.

Dorian Diebold.png

Dorian Diebold is a bottom-feeding Hollywood agent. Manipulative and scheming, Diebold makes many promises but often can not deliver. He loves that Blake and Dillon look alike and represent an older California stereotype.

Preying on their financial instability, Diebold profits from their looks and naivety while setting a series of life-altering events in motion.

Jilliian Vandermark.png

Jillian Vandermark is the daughter of modern-day Ivy Vandermark. Jillian recently graduated with her master’s degree in journalism and wants to write a book about Blake Roberts: a man she has never met. Knowing Blake is regarded by the Vandermarks as a family member, she uses her mother to

convince Blake to let her write his story. Jillian is invited to stay with Blake for an extended period to interview him about his past.

Max Vandermark.png

Maximillian Brighton Vandermark is rich, handsome, and powerful! Max is the father of Logan and Ivy and the grandfather of Jillian. A named partner in the multinational Law firm of Copley Shelburne, and Vandermark Law, Max gives his children a lot of room to explore and find their place in the world, which often

entails getting Blake and Logan out of trouble. Max knows Blake’s father is abusive, so he helps to support and guide Blake.
