I wrote Broken Boys Beyond Friendships to shed light on situations many young men, primarily gay, experience. While it is true that not everyone faces the cruelty of sexism, homophobia, and oppression, many have and continue to do so. After receiving several requests for a sequel, I wrote Logan's Legacy Beyond Blood. This story also focuses on social and institutional injustices that are the unintended consequences of our attempts to protect and do good. One of my favorite Reviews of of Broken Boys Beyond Friends comments on how I blur the line between fiction and reality. I like this this part of the review because I want to shed light on the injustices many people experience.
